Yes, I agree that it is rufodorsata, often imported as Chinese corn snake, or garter snake. It is neither a corn or garter, of course, and some doubt it is even a ratsnake, because they eat fish/frogs, and have live young. I think the common name is red-backed ratsnake, but not many people keep these. They are not well established, and wild caught snakes have many problems, like parasites in and out.

: Attached are 2 pics (may not be the greatest of quality (over exposure), but we (pet store I work at) received it as a "Chinese corn snake". I and owner (both reptile keepers) feel that Chinese corn snake is not the common name. Also trying to determine the scientific name.
