Hello all,
I have came across a weird problem, I think? Well here goes.
I purchased a Trio of WC E.frenata about 4.5 months ago (now the weird part), they have not gone into a shed yet.
What is happening now, they are getting little white pustules under their scales. After a while they dry up and then turn into a hard brown scab. I believe it is an infection or problem between the two layers of skin. I have been trying to clean them as they come, but they have not stopped.
This does not affect their appetite, as they never stopped eating. Also, I have found while cleaning them, some of their "skin" (possible shed skin) does come off, but it is very soft and comes off one scale at a time.
Any ideas why they would not shed? Has anyone seen this type of problem before?
I hope I was clear trying to describe this problem, if not let me know and I will try to do a better job.
Thanks
Jim
