Although uncommon 5 - 10 years ago, we're all lucky that Elaphe situla are more common and available now. There are a number of folks breeding them in the state, when only a few years ago anybody was lucky to get one - let alone hope attempt to be origin-specific. I have a colony of about 12 situla I've been working with for about 10 years. I am also working with longissima and q. quartolineata.
I know several have been intersted in longissima in the past few years. Who's actually figured them out. Cheers RKL
