: The reason I ask is that some people have said that it looks more like a cross with a corn snake and will not be all silver like the 'normal' Bairds.

: His name is Wedge and I rehomed him from Beaver Water World where he was left as an unwanted pet.

: He seems to be taking a very long time to settle, and loves rattling his tail, but once out he is great to hold. He is the only snake I have that actually smells when I get him out (I think it's him musking me). He does not eat as well as any of the other Snakes that I have, only taking very small fuzzies when he could with ease take bigger fuzzies. I'm wondering if his constant attempts to escape when we first got him may have damaged his head, even though he looks OK. Any ideas?

: Visit our Web Site M & D's Snake, Lizard and Dog Site and go to the Corn Snake/Rat Snake page to see why he's called Wedge....

: I've always liked the Bairds and so was really keen on giving him a new home.

: Regards
