For instance, the snake pictured is a leopard rat, E. situla, one of the many miniature Eurasian ratsnakes, along with many dione ssps, bimaculata, etc. Also there's the more exotic Asian stuff, like porphyracea. American ratsnakes can be small too, like the Western green rat, S. triaspis, and some corns are bred small. If you like them really tame, and inexpensive, I would suggest a Dion's or Chinese twin-spotted ratsnake. E-mail me for more details, if you want.

: I am looking for a snake that WILL NOT exceed 4 feet, preferebly stays around 3 or 3-1/2 feet. Do any rat snake species stay this long in adulthood? I currently own: 1 corn snake, 1 king snake, 2 rosy boas, and 1 boa constrictor...
