The "het for blonde" is carrying the recessive gene for the blonde trait but will exhibit the coloration and pattern of a normal Suboc. In other words, you can't tell the difference between a "normal" and a "het" without knowing their lineage or breeding them.
Next, I would recommend that you house your animals in different cages. This is best for a number of reasons including avoiding the spread of parasites or illness and being able to keep accurate records on each.
RinL was correct about size for breeding. I brumate my animals from the end of November until the first of March (I don't know if they will breed without brumating, but I suspect they won't). I never breed a female until she is over 40 inches long (I've never had any egg-binding problems with them). I believe you get bigger healthier babies if you have bigger healthier mommas. Size of the male doesn't matter as long as he is sexually mature. Subocs are usually late breeders. Mine aren't ready to breed until usually the first part of June. They lay the end of July and the eggs hatch 80-90 days later.
Subocs are pretty large colubrids and should have a fairly good sized cage. Mine are actually kept in the large Rubbermaid sweater boxes and have done quite well in them.
Hope this info helps.
