: I have two, and agressive is about the last word I'd use to describe them. 'Flighty', 'greased-lightening', 'nervous', definitely yes. But I'd probably drop dead from shock if one of them ever even hissed at me, let alone struck.
: They do have a tendency to flatten their necks & do what I refer to as their moray eel imitation, but it's never been accompanied by agression.

The only radiated rat snake I've had experience with is the one I've got, who's never been aggressive (`flighty', yes... though he's been steadily calming down as he gets older), so I couldn't really tell you. I've heard, though, that the wild-caught ones are usually very aggressive. #shrug#
