Depends upon how strictly you adhere to the "Ratsnake" title. I'd have to guess it would be a toss-up between the Tiger Rat Snake (Spilotes Pullatus) and the Asian giant Pytas-something-or-other - (Ben Seigle has an albino for sale of the latter where you can get the correct Latin name). I had a trio of Spilotes that were an estimated 9' and were still shedding albeit at a slower rate. These were eight year old snakes. As far as temperment goes I can only speak for the Tiger Rats. My monsters were dog-tame and were truly exceptional display animals. I recently acquired a 6' wc import that shows none of the typical bluff displays but when eating will rattle his tail vigorously and strike at any movement outside the cage. Once the feeding fervor abates he calms down. As seems to be the case w/so many snakes..the most difficult part is extracting them from the cage - once out they are handleable. Bill
