How many do you want? Seriousy, I live in Winton-Salem (in Town) and I find 5-6 a year in my yard from April through September. They eat frozen pinkies just fine, haven't noticed any temerment difference male to female though some individuals may just be mean/nervous, but as a rule they take about 30 seconds to become tame and managable.Six to seven feet seems to be average full size, can reach 8' so cage of about 4x2x2 should be plenty(works for mine) So far as I know there are no restrictions,as yet, in N.C. though they may be threatened in some counties. Obsoleta are concidered endangered in some states and therefore strictly regulated, I don't know about Virgina, sorry. I can say from experience they are hardy, managable, and great pets, I've been keeping them about 30 yrs. off and on so .......Any how depending on exactly where you live, they're pretty common and easy to come by, just check local regs.
