lost corn

My sister had a baby (no more than a foot long) creamsicle corn that somehow got out of its cage. We have found two shed skins since then, so it must still be alive. Where do you think it would hide? I know it won't go outside because it's 50 and below right now (I'm in southern VA). Also, how long can it go without eating? It was lost October 27. Thank you.
