A 20g long would probably be good for life.Though i would rather a 29g for the hight.
But a basic setup would be paper towel,water bowl hide box and a few branches and rocks.Or you can go crazy (as i do) and make a nicely decorated tank with lots of branches rock formations,plants ( i use plastic),clean logs and sticks on the floor,i even have a mini maple tree that my ratsnakes love,theres always one in there.
but this way is more work to clean and locate snakes,but looks so much better than the basic.its worth the time if you have it.
: i was thinkin about buying a small white oak gray rat. i was wondering how long it would live in a 20 gal long, and what its cage setup should be.
