All of the responses are correct. My Female black Rat snake is an
eating machine. Nippy at times, but a neat snake.
They are superb climbers. One time she escaped from my rack system
(she's a CB 98) and I just happened to see her on one of my shelving
units in another room just "hovering" over one of my White Footed Deer Mice
tanks. She climbed quite a bit to get there, and I
guess her appetite was dictating the moment. I just picked her off the shelf
and put her away, this time making sure the darn shoebox
was seated correctly.
