Fred, they are great snakes. My wife and I were lucky to acquire a c.b. adult pair this year from a private breeder. They are exactly like the female that was at the San Diego show in the ProExotics booth. I keep these adults in a large Vision cage with two verticle perches with imitation hanging foliage and sphagnum moss on the ground. They seem to spend half the time in the foliage. The females eats ravenously from a pair of tongs and the male is a little more finicky. The male is also much smaller than the female (half the size). I would like to confirm this with others who are keeping this species. I intend to breed these this coming season. I have spoken with Proexotices about their breeding techniques and it appears they need a dark photoperiod for the dureation of their hibernation. To my knowledge, there are only a few breeding pairs in the States (Kathy Love, Bill Mulligan, ProExotics, and the denver Zoo, I believe.) I will post more info. as I collect it. ----glenn
