Thanks for the quick response Matt. Sorry about the lack of information. I live in northeast Arkansas. The snake was found under some vinyl siding boxes in a small, dirt-floor shed by a large pond. Don't worry, I haven't misidentified a watersnake. It is a rural area with plenty of rodents. Thanks again.
