In Reply to: Are Leucistic texas rats friendly? posted by Katt on October 28, 2000 at 14:30:42:
I recently purchased a baby Leucistic from South Moutain Reptiles and I have yet to see what everyone seems to call a "mean snake". Of the few weeks that I've had him, he's only acutally struck at me one time. As long as you dont hestitate in picking up the snake they do just fine.
: Are those gorgeous snakes friendly adults, of course with regular handling and such. Are they nippy or can they be nice calm tame snakes?
: I've got a super mellow five yr old eastern milk and I can do anything to him (anything non food related) and he doesn't bat an eyelash
