It could be several things that needs a vet to help out. I had a ribbon get pea sized bumps and was told they were a worm of types that invades snakes that eat fish. I was advised to make an incision between the scales over the lump and pull out the worm with tweisers. So I did exactly that and pulled out a red worm. I squeezed the little remaining fluid out and put on some antibiotic jelly and the snake did fine. I am not sure your snake has the same delema but if you can take it to someone experienced with herps maybe they can tell you how to help this guy out. A vet would be the best bet.
