the absolute worst thing you could do is buy a wild caught Mandarin from a pet store. the animal is almost sure to die, and it will probably never eat. you might as well give your money to charity, at least someone decent will get something out of the deal, as opposed to a pet store selling garbage.
wild caught Mandarins almost never acclimate, and there is a reason they wholesale for $20 ea. there are too many breeders (although still only a few) that have healthy, feeding, baby Mandarins available, and if you want to work with these excellent snakes, you should look for cb babies. feel free to email us if you have any questions, i am just trying to save you some heartache.
