hi everyone,
about 2 months ago, i purchased a pair of young adult taiwans. male is 3 years old or so, 7 feet. female is over 2 years, 5.5 feet. i was told they lived together in a tank before i got them (and separated for feeding). since i have had them, i have had them separated in order to assess their health. now, i am confident they are healthy and eating (and how!!!) and want to put them back together. i have a great good-sized upright terrarium (3.5 widex4 highx18 deep) that i want to use as a display for these guys. (the male is fairly tame, female is ferocious!!!)
what's a good way of introducing them into the terrarium? i realize that when housing any two snakes together, there is a risk of one eating the other, but i plan to separate mine at feeding time, feed them plenty, never let them get too hungry, and provide plenty of hides and refuges in the cage.
any and all comments and suggestions welcomed~!
thanks
