: How do I get rid of baby black ratsnakes in my home? They are between the first floor subfloor and the basement ceiling. They are about a foot long and I have already seen 3 of them in my house.
Personally I'd be happy that they are there-they are the best mice and rat traps
people used to actually put black ratsnakes in thier homes and barns to get rid of rodents.
the only reason they are staying is because-whether you know it or not-there is a rodent population
in your home. They are there for the food source only not to bother or annoy you. They are not venomous and
not dangerous. They are probabaly doing you a big favor. But if you really want them out-you have to rid yourself of the food source first.
