Matt,
First of all make sure the eggs stay in a humid or damp subtrate and don't get dried out. This is very important because eggs can dry out in a matter of hours if left in a dry environment. I know some people on this board use a product called Vermiculite (sp?). It is soaked in water then wrung out to get it damp but not wet. You can probably use wet wood chips or mulch until you can find something better. I think it is important also to keep the eggs warm. However, don't let them overheat by placing them on a heatrock or oven. That's about all I know with my limited experience. I hope it helps until someone can fill in where I left off.
Justin
