Got back from FL. last Friday and started work Monday. Also have had some probs. with computer and have been unable to use it til' now. While we were gone our Russians hatched out and look great (20 eggs in clutch), along with a second clutch of Chinese twin-spots. The twin-spots were a cross between a normal brown phase and a blonde phase, we thought might be a gene carrier. But the babies are crosses, and I believe this shows that both parents were color phases. They are mostly light grayish ground, however, which is nice. Other snakes which bred for us this summer were the Chinese dione and some corns.
At the Daytona show we picked up some "high" yellow dione, and a pair of South Korean dione, which are very nice. We also found some more Miami corns we liked, an albino female t. taeniura, and another bimaculata color phase.
After the Daytona show we went to Orlando for a couple days. We stayed at a place in the country, and got to photograph numerous frogs, toads, lizards, and gopher tortoises. It was a great trip, but we're glad to be home. Thanks to all the folks in Daytona that helped me out finding stuff.
TC.
