Blue beauty snakes or beauty snakes in general make great captive snakes. We breed a few species and sub species of asian rat snakes and have found them to be quite easy to maintain. They have great appetites and grow quickly, most do well with care similar to corn snakes. Make sure you get your snake from a reliable captive bred source, this will minimize potential problems.
