: : I have a trio or these guys and having hard time to get started on eating. If there is anybody with experience with guys far as proper housing, temps, food, ect. (they are about 1-3 yrs old.)please send some info Thank you very much for time!!!
: What have you been trying to feed them? Unless I'm mistaken, these guys eat fish and amphibians, and really shouldn't even be in Elaphe. They're also called "Chinese gartersnakes", and from what I've heard they really are much more similar in habitat and food preferences to garters than to rat snakes.

I agree with Patrick on this one. Live bearers that are somehow linked to elaphe. These snakes are much more closely related to garters and/or water snakes. Like Patrick suggested, I too would try the full realm of food items for animals in the garter family.
