: I hope someone here could take a moment to help me out. I recently saw a pic online of a leucistic ratsnake, and absolutely loved the look of this animal. I'm curious as to the general cost for this type of ratsnake. Are they bred regularly, like many of the morphs of cornsankes? Any info on these beauties would be greatly appreciated...
The leucistic Texas rat snake - GEORGEOUS animal. Yes, they are bred regularly and ought to be available at a fairly reasonable price. I don't know who is breeding them or what the exact prices are, but I would expect some to be listed in kingsnake.com's ads.
One thing to look out for. Many of these snakes have enlarged, protruding eyes. Some people like that, but I don't. If you don't like the looks of an animal, pass on it.
