: : The range for prasina seems to be the highlands of s.e. Asia (tropical zone). But since they tend to be at higher elevations, they should probably be treated as a subtropical snake, right? Moellendorffi and taeniura would be similar in their requirements, I expect. Probably about three months of hibernation, at mild temps. They are about an average length I think...about 4 ft? Just beautiful colors, bright greens, sometimes bluish tints, blue eyes get cha'. Can anyone post a pic on this forum??

: These animals are very difficult to locate in the wild and also, many of the Asian imports that come into the country are obtained through the food markets, Prasina are to small to be considered as a food snake.
