: I have a integrade that does not eat well. I think it may have a internal parasite that I think are worms. Next week I am going to doctor up a mouse with some worm off. Should that solve the problem of it not wanting to except food.
By the way you are talking about it, I'm under the impression that it is a wildcaught. if so, "worms" be not be the worst thing it is carrying OR why it is not eating. If you think the animal is carrying internal parasites, the safest recommendation would be to bring it to a GOOD vet and get it checked over.
If you are talking about the liquid RidWorm stuff pet stores sell, it hasn't worked worth a crap (no pun intended) for most of the instances where i've seen it used. If you follow directions, it shouldn't hurt, though...as long as you're careful. Personally, I don't use it OR recommend blanket treatment of animals. As far as filling a mouse with it, that is one way to get it in the snake as long as the snake can eat it and keep it down if it is the oral form of a medication.
Good Luck,
KJ
