Hi Rex
My wife has approved a trip abroad for me, but there are so many things to do. The wintergarden needs to be done before the winter starts, and there are also the outdoor terraria and my turtleponds.
I know that the work building my outdoor reptile farm probably would take the rest of my life, but a minimum should be finished, for the reptiles and amphibians that I might not be able to buy in the future years.
I want to establish a colony of all European Elaphe to insure that they newer leave the hobby, and I am in the 11`th hour. If there isn`t made a maintanance group of people these snakes will be out of reach very soon. Look at situla. There have bee exported thousands of them from Yogoslavia, but how many is left. Their numbers are declining every year, and there wont be any wc comming in any more. REMEMBER Situla is a popular, beautiful and highly requested snake. If they are disappearing, what about the others? I don`t think E. q. muenteri is in the hobby any more. Maybe there is a few in UK. They had them, but I haven`t heard anything about them for some years.
Do you have any shows in October or November or even later. I the wintertime my animals are hibernating and I might be able to get free from work. If that is the case I will come. It would be interesting to put a face on the names and a serious talk.
Maybe we should make a chat sometime. If anyone is interested I could visit a chatroom today (tonight for me)
E-mail me if anyone is interested
Best wishes
Søe
