: What do you know about this snake? What about its care sheet and temperament?
Hello
Friesei are found throughout Taiwan, are fast growers and a great snake. We have had some almost 6 feet in only 1year, they can reach around 8 feet which is where our main group of breeders our at this time. Thier temperment is very low keyed except at feeding time, and ours have never bitten in the 10years that we have worked with these animals.Taeniura lay around 10-15 eggs a clutch, in which the eggs have a much thicker shell than other colubrids. This is sometimes a difficult animal to find pure since the species easily interbreeds, which is often done, sadly. Let us know if you have any other questions.
