: Hi there,
: I've had a lot of problems with mites but it's all solved now.
: What I did was that I soaked the snakes for about half an hour in warm water (30 C), I cleaned, the cage I put them in everyday.
: The infested cage I closed completely and left a vapona box in there for about 10 days, then I let it air for a couple of days, The substrate was removed of course.
: After the snake shed he was completely free of mites, I soaked them still for a couple of days. There back in their original cage and eating again. I still soak them in warm water, they even enjoy it
: Just thought I let you know what happened and what worked for me
: thanx for all the support
: Rik
congrats..... just be careful not to get a repeat infestation of them.
the soaking is the best way I have found to get rid of them.
