The breeding of Elaphe situla cannot be compared to Cornsnakes for example, as they may not even breed every year. Mine didn't do anything this nor last year. Elaphe situla need to be adequately brumated each year, and if you have a very mild winter (like here in the South), it is not always possible to breed them.
I see your point if somebody puts them on their "Availability List" and then doesn't have them, but you can't expect to get all species that are on somebody's "Price List", because it's just what the name implies. It lists the prices of possibly available animals.
I hope you'll find situlas this year.
