Yes, E. rufodorsata is still a valid name.
However, there's a revision of the whole genus Elaphe in the works by the Zoological Museum at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. I do have link to their site, but unless you know German, it won't be of any help to you. Here it is anyway: http://www.zoolmus.unizh.ch/JB.Herpetol.html

E. rufodorsata will most likely be taken out of the genus Elaphe. I hope they're almost finished with the revision. Can't wait for the results!
