This is the second clutch I have had. The first clutch all pipped within a day or two and then all came out of the shell respectively.
This one is different. I had one egg pip yesterday morning. He had not started the night before. When I got home from the bar last night he was already out of the shell and quite active. None of the other eggs had pipped at that point, and none had started as of this morning either. I'm at work so I can't check during the day. Is it unusual to have one hatch so quickly and so much ahead of the others? I got a pic of him btw, but I don't know how to post it. I'm gonna try though (its kinda slow at work today). Would appreciate any insight into the hatching speed question though.
thanks in advance.
