You can get it at most local Farm&Feed stores. Ivomec injectible for cattle. Don't inject it though. Mix about 1CC per quart of water(some herpers say 1CC per liter)in a misting bottle. spray down the snake and cage(after disinfecting it) really good. Then repeat the same every two days until mites are gone. Pest strips can be also used along with Ivomec but with caution. I would only use about a 1 inch strip in a deli cup (with many holes punched in it)overnight(repeated every other day). But a friend of mine at the kentucky Reptile Zoo suggested Ivomec. I've never seen any problems with the snakes at all resulting from using it. It is rather expensive(about $50 or more per vial)but you can keep it around for a long time and treat your snakes periodically as routine maintenance. If you only have one snake I'm sure you could just get a couple of CCs from a vet possibly cheaper than buying a whole vial. A hypodermic syringe of course is also necessary for measurement and extracting Ivomec from vial.
Hope this helps, mites are a drag! Good luck!
