gonyosoma take usually 90+ days to hatch at 80 degrees. That has been my experience. get the babies feeding on anything. I use brained cupped pinkys. with a twist- I put the pinkys in with a pair of deer mice for a few hours. then brain them, and put everybody together in a cup. save the cup. once the snakes get used to feeding in the cup you can substitute thawed , and finally skip the cup.
Good luck
: just wondering, those of you who have hatched gonyosoma, how did you do it and how long did it take? i have a clutch of eggs about 60 days old incubating on 1:1 vermiculite at 84 degrees. recently lost one obviously fertile egg. wondering if they're too hot and should i drop temp to 82? also, i was anticipating 70-80 day incubation, but saw in one (quasi-reliable) book 3-4 months! which is more realistic. while we're on the topic, anyone have luck with a technique to get babies feeding?
: thanks
