: I just searched the forum using the words you used and there is not 1 post about a "black leusistic rat snake" but there are a few posts about leusistic black rat snakes. I don't know if there is any way for me to make this more clear but there is no such thing.
: to try to further explain the difference here are the scientific names of the 2 snakes
: Elaphe obsoleta lindheimeri (Texas Ratsnake)
: Elaphe obsoleta obsoleta (Black Ratsnake)
: both of these snakes are available in a leusistic morph along with MANY other morphs
