: *** Hey Steve,
: WE have a photo of one of our females on our site,"Ratsnakes of the Genus Elaphe" here on Kingsnake.com, it's one of my females from Kumming, Yunnan province China. Check it out and also on "Bushmaster Breeding center",also here on Kingsnake.com, there is one from North Vietnam pictured.
: Like Terry said, would be nice to see a photo of them.
: The Best,
: Rex

Rex et. al.,

Thanks for reminding me of the photo gallery on "Ratsnakes of the Genus Elaphe". Your Yunnan Beauty Snake photo greatly resembles my animals. While mine seem very slightly darker over all, the "X" shaped or "bow tie" blotches are a match. The color is about the same, with mine showing a little more orange in the yellow. Mine appear to be either true E.t. yunnanensis, or yunnanensis with something else worked in.

Just checked Bushmaster's pic as you recommended, and yes, it is a close match also, especially as the dorsal blotches begin a little further down the body than in your gallery photo. Mine are still darker, generally.

I don't have quick photo capability, but will photograph these and try to post in the near future. Thanks for all the help to all.
