I hatched out 6 last year out of 10 eggs (two clutches). I manually pipped the eggs at 100 days and still lost 4 even though they were full term neonates. Obviously much more needs to be done in Goynosoma egg husbandry as manual pipping obviously does'nt happen in the wild - but that was the advice I got.
All of my neonates refused to feed unless a split-brained fuzzy (not a pinky - hair on the prey is a must)if it was left on the floor of the cage - but if I placed it up in the branches of the fake plants they wolfed them. They all now take live fuzzies right off the floor of the cage but the afore mentioned feeding requirements lasted for the initial 6 mos. of life. Bill
