Black Rat Snake egg question.

Hey,

My black rat snake laid 17 eggs one week ago. Several of them, probably 40%, have dimpled. They haven't collapsed but a couple of them have pretty deep dimples. Will they do that if they are too damp? I can't imagine they are too dry.
I had a clutch hatch last fall. But I don't remember if this happened or not. Just curious if this is normal.
