Hi Emilio
Thats a picture!!!! I really wish I could make pics like that. I must buy a difgital camera soon, but my experience on those are none.
It is a very nice animal. They will change some with age, but it looks as it will develob into a knockout.
Unfortunately location describtions on this species are very limited and I haven`t got a clue from where this animal comes (the same with my own)Most animals are exported out of Hong Kong but their origin???????
One out of 20 is mutch better than normal import survival. Still be very observant. They can make problems years after their introduction to captivity.
For nematods (worms) I use Vermox powder on their food items. It seems to work better for me than Panacur 50mg pr. kilo twice with 10 days between. Mandarins are not so sencitive as the Gonyosomas when talking about drugs. Their problem is normally stress and dehydration.
I dewormed mine in a huge outdoor terrarium the natural way, but still it took nearly 10 years before they were adapting my conditions so mutch that they started eating regulary and bred.
Best wishes
Søe
