: good to hear from you, I agree with dean in that the leu. Tx. Rats are all pretty nippy as youngsters. They usually calm down in the second year. Our adults are all as handable as corns with the exception of two hets and one 5' female tha is untrustworthy. To me they are a great animal as breeders as they do so well in captivity and their color is awesome. Well worth the hassle of adolescence to me.

Thanks to seeing you get bitten, although I must
say you handled them preety good and did not get
the badly bitten, made me not buy them that day.
But since I've deceided to get another snake,
most of the ones I like seem to be a pit
jumpy as kids. So you never know, at the next
Texas Reptiles or ETHS show I'll stop buy and
buy one of these jumpy pissy species.
