Congratulations on your hatching success, Bill. It's great someone is breeding these. I agree that anyone wanting to keep any Asian rats long term should start with captive hatched. There just are so many problems with wild caught, especially when we start out inexperienced with Asians. Although, there's a need for gene pools, captive young reduces the stress on wild populations, as mentioned. It's that some people can only afford wild of some Asians though, which keeps them in the market. Good luck on raising your new babies. Terry.
