Hi Doug. I don't have any pics right now, but I've worked with this subspecies for quite a few years. The Russian ratsnake is E. schrencki schrencki, and the Korean ratsnake is E. s. anomala. This is a very hardy, and secretive subspecies of schrencki. They are not very colorful, kind of dark, and they don't handle very well. I much prefer the Russians for their pet potential. Most of the imports came from Korea, thus the name Korean ratsnake. I'm not sure what the Chinese anomala look like. There are some pictures in Schulz' monograph ('96) though, of both variants. The Korean ratsnake reminds me of a water snake in its behavior. Terry.
