According to Schulz ('96), it has been collected mostly in the western half of the island; it ranges up to 1,000 meters; and it is a great climber. I haven't heard of it inhabiting any other islands. My theory is they are subtropical, and always hibernate, so it's possible that they migrate to higher elevations to hibernate from Dec. to Mar. TC.
