: :Obviously a beautiful serpent. Does anyone out there know anything about the import history on prasina, frenata and porphyracea ? Its my impression that most if not all of what we are seeing of these guys came from a very few snakes brought over by Cameron Teppedelin and Klaus Dieter Schultz of Bushmaster. Have they been imported by anyone else or is the genetic base that we are building on very narrow ?
The base is a little narrow, but,,,
E. prasina - there are animals from Malaysia, Thailand and North Vietnam in collections.
E. porphyracea;
E. p. vaillanti- There are a few different sources out of China/ Hong Kong. Animals from different localities,(??who know's where??).
E. P. Coxi - come from a very small area, so very few have been collected.
E. frenata - again, different sources out of China/Japan. so there is some different blood's out there.
