:I have seen em in the piedmont of NC with orangish on the belly also. I've never seen corns here but the range suggests that I could find them. Does that one have any orange dorsally? The one that I have seen had orange rusty colored places dorsally. Too bad that I let the friend who caught it keep it in a tank in his club house, because the derned thing escaped.

this one just has the remaining traces of white from the fading pattern. and yes! they are good escape artists!!
