My 6-1/2' wild caught black rat has been lost in my basement since last november.Just about 10 minutes ago,I went down there and shined my cordless spot light,and the first place I looked at,there he was!All coiled up on top of one of the heating ducts coming from my furnace.My boy brought me a large plastic storage box,and the wife brought my snake hook to me while I kept an eye on him and now he is safely in his large enclosure with his amel. female.He's awfull dirty and has cobwebs all over him,but really on good shape considering the length of time he was missing without water.He is also in the blue,so in a week or so he will be back to his shiny black self.I just hope I he will still breed the female.She had her first shed about 2 weeks ago.
