Russian's in love!

I threw my new pair of Russain rats together today, and the male went right after the female. She was resisting quite a bit. I don't know if it's just because it is their first breeding, or if he's just dumb, but I watched them for a while and he was trying, but they hadn't locked up yet. Hopefully they come to terms and he works his bugs out cause that would be species three waiting for eggs on this year!
