::How much does an Emory Rat Snake cost? I will be getting some california kingsnakes in August and I can't wait.
:Erm, I don't know. As I said, I've only had two snakes so far, and an Emory Rat snake is not one of them. You had asked what other snakes would be good and I said a Mexican Black Kingsnake wouldn't be too bad. I can't make a recomendation one way or the other on my other snake, I've only had him a few weeks (a Black Rat Snake).

Alice,
I will just stick with california kingsnakes. I used to have one and I wish I never sold her. She never did try to bite me.
I love kingsnakes because they are easy to feed and take care of. I had a wild caught southern ringneck snake and I had to release her cuz she would not eat anything. Some of the smaller snake varieties can be finicky about what they eat.
I love the arizona mountain kingsnakes too. some of the colors they come in look like fire guess thats why they call them pyros.

john
