I'm glad you had some success. I've had a few w/c myself that have done well, but it's been frustrating for two main reasons: w/c usually are much harder to adjust to your routine (you have to learn theirs), and the numbers that are lost are saddening. There's times when w/c are needed to start a species or some morph, but I personally don't go that way when CB are available.
You seem to have a knack for getting them started, but I have to think that most novices would really mess up the part about treatment for parasites. Also, the risk to the rest of your collection is high. You need to be able to maintain a quarantine area for a considerable amount of time. Mostly though, I can't see creating any demand for w/c unless you feel it's really necessary to get that snake started. I can only justify it to myself by believing that creating CB stock eventually will diminish the demand for w/c to some degree.
