: I have a group of Elaphe flavolineata a have read everything I can
: find on them which was not much.I would like to know if these snakes need it a little cooler temp like some Asain rat like? Also
: they all have just shed and don't seem interested in mice.I know that they are WC and are about 2.5 feet long.So I know that they are not adults yet. Any help would be great.
Hey DK,
E. flavolineata are mostly found in Indonesia and it's warm there year round. It's true some Asian Elaphe like cooler trmp's, but these guys are gonna' like it warm, 80 mid-day, dropping to upper 70's at night.
If they are WC animals, give them some time to ajust and make sure they have good hiding places to feel secure.
The Best,,
Rex
